About your head florist and Flower lead
marieta bialek
Marieta was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley and is thrilled to be in her hometown practicing what she loves most- farming flowers and the art of floral design. She first fell in love with the wildflowers at an early age while hiking and camping in the mountains with her mom. Marieta has worked with and managed organic and biodynamic farms in Boulder, Longmont, Hotchkiss, and Aspen for over ten years. She started her own flower business in Hotchkiss, Colorado in 2018 growing flowers and offering floral design services and moved back to the valley during the pandemic to be closer to family. She is thrilled to be leading the flower production and floral department at Two Roots Farm. When she’s not farming she might be floating a river or hiking in the mountains with her dog Cosmo.
